Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice Exhibit
This awesome exhibit at the Port Discover Children’s Museum isn’t open much longer. Be sure to visit with the kids to learn about the world of dinos before this exhibit closes for good after September 9. The exhibit is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Polynesian Luau with Moana & Friends
This outdoor event is great for kids and adults alike who love a good luau and the movie Moana. The event includes a petting zoo, craft station, moon bounce, dancing, food trucks, face painting and more. Check it out on Saturday, July 21, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Richardson Nursery & Garden in Millersville.
17th Street Festival
Are you a foodie who loves to sample anything and everything from acclaimed restaurants? Then mark your calendar with this festival in DC, which boasts more than 100 food vendors as well as more than 60 craft artists, a moon bounce, live music, and a pet zone. The event will be held on August 25 on 17th Street NW in Dupont Circle.
