Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Surprise your little ones with an exciting breakfast meetup. The Easter Bunny will be hopping his way to Marley United Methodist Church, located at 30 Marley Neck Road in Glen Burnie, on Saturday, March 24, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tickets cost $10, which gets you breakfast (served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.), a digital picture with the Easter Bunny (also from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.), and participation in the Easter Egg Hunt. The Little Mermaid on Ice
See your favorite underwater fairytale brought to life on ice at the Gardens Ice House at 12800 Old Gunpowder Road in Laurel, Maryland. The event will be held on April 14 and April 15; both are 3:30 p.m. performances. Get more information here.
Hanami: Baltimore’s First Annual Cherry Blossom Celebration Picnic
Baltimore and nearby D.C. are known for the beautiful cherry blossoms every spring. On April 14, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., head to Middle Branch Park at 3301 Waterview Avenue in Baltimore, to have a wonderful breakfast beneath the blooming cherry blossoms. Bring your own food and outdoor entertainment — and enjoy a beautiful, free day in the sun. The rain date is Sunday, April 15, at the same time.
Red Shoe 5K Run & Walk
To benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Washington, DC, take part in the Red Shoe 5K Run & Walk at Dulles Station in Herndon. The event starts on Sunday, May 20, at 7:30 a.m. Get more details here.
